Stratton Craig, the original copywriting agency, has won a pitch to write BA Holidays’ mammoth new website.
Stratton Craig was invited to pitch against three other writing agencies to write web copy for 1200 hotels, and won the project after submitting sample copy by a highly experienced travel writer, as well as a complex cost structure.
The project is a significant one and will span the next few months. It involves researching 1200 hotels in BA Holidays’ portfolio, and producing copy in a variety of lengths for the website. This detailed information enables consumers to make informed choices about the full holiday packages they book.
Stratton Craig has chosen the best writing team for this project, with experience in travel and tourism and clients including Marriott Hotels and Visit Britain. The team will be producing around 40 hotel descriptors every week, and Stratton Craig has assigned a dedicated account manager to the project to ensure consistency of messaging.
The copy will be written in line with detailed guidelines from both BA and BA Holidays, and the new hotel copy is expected to go live in early 2009.
