The challenge
For over a decade, Robert Walters had been creating its Global Salary Survey in-house. This huge document is a valuable tool for employers, employees and anybody else who wants detailed information and insight about global salary trends.
The team wanted to find a more efficient way of creating the survey, and this was where we could offer real value and expertise.
The solution
The Global Salary Survey is a huge undertaking in terms of planning, logistics and content creation. Bringing together Robert Walters’ teams from across the world, it comprises hundreds of overviews of salary trends in specific countries, sub-sectors and roles.
Working closely with the comms team, we interviewed country managers and team members to understand the overarching key messages we needed to highlight. To gather such a huge amount of information in a short space of time, we ran both telephone interviews and a written survey. We then wrote over 300 pieces of content for the project, including summaries of the past year and expert advice for both companies and candidates for the year ahead.
The results
Through our approach, country managers and team members no longer had to create the content themselves and the central project management team were able to rely on quick delivery timeframes.
And by being a reliable, flexible and agile writing partner we were able to form a natural extension of the Robert Walters team, saving them valuable time in house.
