Booking.com was running an application process to bring on new freelance copywriters.
Because of the sheer number of applicants, it needed a critical eye to help with the assessment process and provide an objective external opinion.
The application process involved three rounds, with multiple pieces of work submitted by each writer per round.
In total, we assessed over 900 pieces of work and marked and graded each submission according to strict criteria, from grammar to tone of voice. Our team of specialist copywriter reviewers included an ex-teacher who helped to streamline the marketing process.
We also provided written feedback on all submitted work, which was handed back to the freelance copywriter.
We made the screening process easier for Booking.com. The team was confident in our feedback and used it to onboard lots of freelancers with the ideal writing skills.
