Research recently carried out by Econsultancy and Campaign Asia-Pacific shows that 66% of Asian businesses intend to increase their digital marketing budgets over the next year.[1] The findings are symptomatic of a global trend: digital marketing has never been more important to companies’ communications.
The State of Digital Marketing in Asia 2013 Report, in which these results are published, also shows that Asian companies allocate an average of 29% of their entire marketing budgets to digital, a 3% increase on 2012 results.  Multi-channel marketing is vital to access a wide audience, but companies increasingly prioritise mediums like the internet to reach clients on an international scale.
It isn’t just Asian companies and those looking to expand into Asian markets that see the appeal of digital marketing. Stratton Craig works with a huge number of organisations from the UK, Europe and further afield. We’ve been doing so for more than 25 years, and in the past five years we’ve noticed a considerable increase in demand for our digital services across the board.
Of course, digital marketing encompasses a variety of forms. Smaller companies might find that their budget is limited to a 12-page website and social media pages. Global organisations are likely to have larger versions of these, while using search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques and direct sales emails to further enhance their digital presence. But to widen your reach, digital marketing is essential, and all methods of digital communication rely on high-quality copywriting.
Digital copy is often referred to as content, and content marketing is an area that many companies are currently focusing on. To find out about Stratton Craig’s digital copywriting and content marketing services, please contact our team.
