The challenge
Writhlington School got in touch after receiving a challenging Ofsted report. One area of improvement that was highlighted was communication between the school’s leadership team and the parents and stakeholders.
The solution
Our strategists led a workshop with Writhlington’s senior leadership team where we demonstrated the impact and potential of best-practice communications principles. We shared practical ways the leadership team and comms team could implement our recommendations.
Our education specialists then rewrote the school’s letter templates, demonstrating the power of carefully chosen words to build trust and understanding.
The results
The team at Writhlington was thrilled with the outcome of the project. The leadership team had a new understanding of how their communication styles could impact the school community, and the comms team benefited from a new respect for their work.
We were able to remind Writhlington of why words truly do matter and demonstrated how they could implement best practice within their internal team.
