The brand has been entertaining us with compelling creative campaigns for years. TV ads have included \u2018<\/span><a style=\"line-height: 19px;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6cM4EOeJzHA\">Still Red Hot<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 19px;\">\u2019, \u2018<\/span><a style=\"line-height: 19px;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Hbib-A6NpW8\">Your airline\u2019s either got it or it hasn\u2019t<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 19px;\">\u2019, and the most recent addition to the portfolio, \u2018<\/span><a style=\"line-height: 19px;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NduSuP-4EEU\">Flying in the face of ordinary\u2019<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 19px;\"> . Though the content of the adverts differs, the unmistakably confident tone remains.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Such adverts have helped Virgin Atlantic earn coveted awards including CIM\u2019s <em>Travel brand of the year 2012<\/em> and <em>Best TV commercial 2012<\/em>, and Cimtig\u2019s <em>Travel brand of the decade 2011<\/em>. Other brands like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Tp8ecwyR06g\">Best Western<\/a>\u00a0 have even parodied them, cashing in on the success of the ads while poking fun at them.<\/p>\n<p>We love Virgin Atlantic for their distinctively cheeky personality. And by cheeky we don\u2019t mean the young \u00a0tone of a brand like Innocent (not that we don\u2019t love them too). Virgin Atlantic is definitely for adults \u2013 it\u2019s stylish and sexy (with the help of some exceptionally good-looking cabin crew members), and it&#8217;s decidedly aspirational.<\/p>\n<p>The latest tagline, \u2018Flying in the face of ordinary\u2019, says it all. It describes what Virgin Atlantic does (i.e. flying) alongside how they do it (i.e. extraordinarily), with a refreshing lack of faux modesty. The catchy line forms the basis of an equally sharp script, which plays on the superhuman qualities of the Virgin Atlantic team. The message?
