She took a basket of goodies, put on her trusty red cape and set off into the woods. She skipped along happily, unaware that a sneaky wolf was following her as she made her way through the trees.<br \/>\nLuckily, the entire forest was monitored with CCTV cameras. A security guard spotted the wolf creeping along suspiciously behind Little Red, and he was promptly arrested. The end.<br \/>\nThat version\u2019s not quite as interesting, is it?<br \/>\nFairy tales were written a long time ago, and the way we live now means that many of their plots sound frankly convoluted and time-consuming. Rumpelstiltskin\u2019s name could be easily Googled, the Frog Prince would use Photoshop and an OkCupid account, and Cinderella wouldn\u2019t have needed a Fairy Godmother if she\u2019d been sent a Facebook invitation instead.<br \/>\nFilm director <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedrum.com\/news\/2013\/05\/29\/disruptive-technologies-have-driven-not-changed-fundamentals-storytelling-says-james?utm_source=Interspire&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=The+Drum+Daily+Newsletter+-+30th+May+2013\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">James Cameron recently said<\/a> that the rise of technology should never ruin a good plot: &#8220;Innovation sparks ideals and further innovation, but the fundamentals of storytelling haven\u2019t changed. There still needs to be a beginning, middle and end and they need to communicate powerful emotional experiences.&#8221;<br \/>\nMovies are increasingly asking us to suspend our belief in reality and accept the improbable &#8211; Cameron\u2019s epic \u2018Avatar\u2019 is an excellent example. However, underneath the intricate makeup and breathtaking CGI, there still needs to be a solid story with a logical conclusion or we just won\u2019t buy it.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s an ethos that translates perfectly into the world of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strattoncraig.com\/services\/digital-copy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">digital copywriting<\/a>, as it happens.
