Businesses need to be able to thrive in an extremely competitive environment and to attract customers that are already bombarded with marketing messages on every communication channel they access. That is why being different and standing out from the crowd is essential for brands, especially for small and medium-sized businesses.
One of the easiest ways to get noticed is to create a well-managed corporate blog, says Business 2 Community. Blogging can be extremely beneficial to brands, as it can bring up to 55% more traffic to the company website. In addition, blogging leads to 97% more inbound links, 434% more indexed pages in search engines and 25 times more business leads. Last, but not least, running a blog is estimated to boost revenues by up to 40%, the website says.
So far, so good. But there must be millions of blogs online. How does a brand make their own blog so attractive to users that they not only keep reading but also share it with other users? The key component is fun, Business 2 Community claims.
Fun can be easily transmitted to users through a blog post and it is important that the author has fun while creating it. Writing about a subject matter that one loves and knows a lot about can turn a blog post into valuable content.
