Helping Home Credit create its first ever Group ESG report

The challenge

Home Credit is a global financial services provider with a presence in many different markets, each with its own activities. We helped Home Credit create its first ever Group ESG report, setting out how the Group delivers responsible and sustainable financial services. We gathered a vast amount of quantitative and qualitative information and devised a structure that would convey the Group’s rich narrative in a clear and cohesive way.

The solution

We selected one of our highly experienced ESG writers for the project. Initially, we spent time delving into information and holding interviews with over 20 members of senior management teams across the Group. This enabled us to find common themes across each of the markets and apply these to the core ESG beliefs that united the Group. At the same time, one of our senior strategists helped Home Credit articulate its corporate purpose and mission statement. All of this background and direction helped our writer create a comprehensive structure and narrative.

Our report told a well-balanced story that resonated across all regions. We also helped Home Credit to design the report. Our team then went on to create smaller individual country reports to allow Home Credit to share more detail on its activities across the globe.

The results

“With Stratton Craig’s support, we published our first ESG report. Our teams across the world have long been focused on doing the right thing, and Stratton Craig helped us to collate a huge range of information and activity into a compelling narrative that brings to life all of that great work.”

Jan Ruzicka, Group Chief External Officer, Home Credit.
